New Art Destination, Villa Carmignac, Opens off the coast of France

On the French Mediterranean island of Porquerolles a brand-new contemporary art venue, Villa Carmignac, opens its doors on June 2, offering temporary exhibitions and a sculpture garden within its premises. The Fondation Carmignac will showcase at the villa its collection of over 300 artworks including heavyweight contemporaries like Andy Warhol, Gerhard Richter and El Anatsui.
