The Moon

To mark the 50th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s ‘small step’, this exhibition at National Maritime Museum features over 180 objects from national and international museums and private collections, and presents a cultural and scientific story of our relationship with the Moon over time and across civilisations. A major feature of the exhibition is Cadmium-Vermilion Eclipse, 2016,  a radiant intaglio print with collage and chine-collé created by acclaimed Ghanaian artist El Anatsui.
