Debut Exhibition (Efie Gallery)

Efiɛ Gallery is a new contemporary art gallery located in Dubai which specialises in the promotion of African artists from within the continent and the diaspora, with a focus on West African art. Its Debut Exhibition, taking place at a specially designed pavilion in this years All Africa Festival at the Burj Plaza by Emaar, seeks to foster and celebrate cross-cultural connections between Africa and the Middle East. For impressive starters, Efie Gallery presents four shiny new installations by legendary ghanaian sculptor El Anatsui. Other works presented are by James Barnor , Maggie Otieno, Isshaq Ismail, Yaw Owusu, Betty Acquah, Alice Asafu-Adjaye, Chrissa Amuah, Larry Otoo, Kobi Mintah, Slawn, Kojo Dwimoh, Theresah Ankomah, Negyem Adonoo, Alpha Odhiambo, Amine Allah Manai, Gbemileke Adekunle, Deryk Owusu-Bempah, Alex Isokrari and Kwaku Yaro.
