A collaborative exhibition between KADIST, Paris and CCA, Lagos

Diaspora at Home at KADIST is the second chapter of an exhibition, the first having been presented at CCA, Lagos in 2019, which explores conversations on the complexities of the mobility of Africans and African ideas within Africa. The exhibition is curated by a former student of El Anatsui, Iheanyi Onwuegbucha along with Sophie Potelon. Installed on the gallery wall is Bird, 1992, a signature wall-hanging sculpture made from manipulated panels of wood by the Ghanaian master sculptor. The show also features works by Ntshepe Tsekere Bopape, Nidhal Chamekh, Bady Dalloul, Rahima Gambo, Goddy Leye, Abraham Oghobase, Wura-Natasha Ogunji, Chloé Quenum and a Reading Room by Amandine Nana.
