Axel Vervoordt presents new bottle-cap works, coming directly from the El Anatsui studio in Tema
In this exhibition, five new El Anatsui tapestries are displayed flat on the walls of the gallery, emphasizing their pictorial qualities as with 2-dimensional images. El Anatsui, 2025 is the artist’s fourth such solo exhibition since his first collaboration with Axel Vervoordt at Artempo: Where Time Becomes Art in 2007 where the monumental ‘Fresh and Fading Memories I-IV’ draped the whole façade of the Palazzo Fortuny.
