Fabricated Imaginaries: Crafting Art

Fabricated Imaginaries draws from the Rose Art Museum’s permanent collection to enhance our understanding of the versatility, possibilities, and potential materiality of visual expression. The exhibition presents works, like  El Anatsui’s Avocado Coconut Egg (A.C.E.), 2016, that forgo craft traditions in interesting ways, in order to experiment with design and unconventional styles of creativity.
