The Layers exhibition focuses on five key moments in the history of modern and contemporary Nigerian art; the Independence exhibition in 1960, exhibitions and seminars organized by the artistic group Mbari, FESTAC’77, the advent of the Uli artistic movement, and the AKA artistic collective.
