NEON, in partnership with the Hellenic Parliament, turns an industrial landmark into a culture hub

The symbolic former Public Tobacco Factory opens its doors for the first time to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Greek War of Independence. Introducing itself as a new contemporary cultural centre in Athens, the venue will host “Portals”, an international group exhibition featuring 59 artists from 27 countries. The exhibition will include 15 new site-specific installations commissioned by NEON.
