Re-Materialize

Re-Materialize shows the exceptional works of four artists who use recycled or repurposed materials, more specifically, discarded packaging, personal items, and architectural elements. It features Untitled (Blue Metallic Eclipse), 2016, an intaglio print by Nsukka-based artist, El Anatsui. The multimedia print is made from 3d scans of wooden boards punctured by studio assistants in the process of making Anatsui’s signature bottle-top tapestries. Other exhibiting artists are Jackie Milad, a Baltimore-based artist, Brooklyn-based sculptor Shari Mendelson, and California-based artist Alison Saar.
