Talbot Rice Gallery shines a spotlight on El Anatsui's monumental wall tapestries

Featuring a new work specifically designed for the Talbot Rice Gallery, Scottish Mission Book Depot Keta is the biggest survey of El Anatsui’s oeuvre ever conducted in the UK. It will showcase a selection the artist’s legendary metal wall hangings including one of the first of its kind, Woman’s Cloth, 2002, on loan from the British Museum, and the much more recent Royal Slumber, 2023 alongside other favourites of his back catalogue like carved wood panel wall-hangings and elaborate prints.
