Sections/Intersections: 25 Years of Guggenheim Museum Bilbao Collection is an ambitious presentation of works from the museum’s collection. With a list of stalwart curators behind it, the exhibition’s theme is constructed as a tryptich with each floor of the museum offering a section of the collection: Material Life in gallery 105, Unfolding Narratives on the second floor, and Marking History on the third floor. El Anatsui’s Rising Sea, 2019 is the latest additions to the museum’s collection and will feature in its own space on the third floor as part of the Marking History section of the exhibition which will show from September 20, 2022 to December 31, 2023.
