Seeing the Invisible is an augmented reality contemporary art exhibition initiated by the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens in partnership with Outset Contemporary Art Fund, with the support of the Jerusalem Foundation that features thirteen augmented reality (AR) works by established artists from various countries, stalwarts such as El Anatsui,  Ai Wei Wei and more. The exhibition offers a “phydigital” experience, combining the physical location and the digital manifestation brilliantly into a single seamless experience. This means that, although visitors experience the works digitally, they can only do so at specific physical locations. Developed as a collaboration among 12 botanical gardens located all over the world, Seeing the Invisible is a ground breaking, first-of-its-kind augmented reality (AR) exhibition. Seeing the Invisible will show at Jerusalem Botanical Gardens, Israel, Royal Botanic Gardens, Victoria Cranbourne and Royal Botanic Gardens, Victoria, Melbourne in Australia, Royal Botanical Gardens, Canada, Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, South Africa, Eden Project, Cornwall and Royal Botanical Garden, Edinburgh, UK, Tucson Botanical Garden, Arizona, San Diego Botanic Gardens, California, Denver Botanic Gardens, Colorado, Marie Selby Gardens, Florida, and Elm Bank Garden, Massachusetts Horticultural Society, USA.
