The Shape of Things To Come

In this exhibition, El Anatsui’s work contemplates how fragments of the past can be reassembled into new cultural narratives that transcend borders. Alongside the Ghanaian sculptor, The Shape of Things to Come features the work of international stalwarts Carrie Mae Weems, Abdoulaye Konaté, Yinka Shonibare, Iman Issa, and Adam Pendleton. It is curated by Dexter Wimberly for Efie Gallery in Dubai.
