El Anatsui announced as Bard College 2024 Honorary Degree Recipient

Bard College, New York has conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts on Professor El Anatsui. President of the college, Leon Botstein, and the Board of Trustees made the announcement at Bard’s 164th commencement on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Other Bard College honorary degree recipients of the year are Naomi Oreskes, Imad Abu Kishek, David C. Banks, R. Howard Bloch, Richard G. Frank ’74, Carla Hayden and, also honoured with a Doctorate in Fine Art,  Rachel Weisz.
