El Anatsui’s first Solo Exhibition in France

The Conciergerie, a historical building in Paris, this year welcomes the first solo exhibition by El Anatsui in France titled “In Search of Freedom”. It is set to be a monumental and inspiring exhibition, enhanced by the powerful setting of La Conciergerie. El Anatsui has been  given carte blanche to create and present his works, as a spectacular way to open the Africa 2020 Season, an event that runs from December 2020 to July 2021, and brings together more than 200 experiences and encounters in France. “In Search of Freedom” will be on view at the Conciergerie from December 2, 2020 to April 5, 2021.
