El Anatsui’s First Solo Exhibition in the Middle East

Officially opened on the 1st of October, 2019 by HE Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Thani and attended by a number of VIP guests led by Ahmad Al Namla, Qatar Museums’ acting CEO, Arab Museum of Modern Art (MATHAF) saw the launching of Triumphant Scale, El Anatsui’s first ever solo exhibition hosted anywhere in the Middle East.

Curated by the late Okwui Enwezor together with Chika Okeke-Agulu, the exhibition remains on view in Doha until the 31st of January, 2020.
