Ihe-Nsukka autonomous community bestows title on El Anatsui

On the 21st of August, the king of Ihe-Nsukka autonomous community, Igwe George Asadu and his royal cabinet came together to host and honour El Anatsui at the royal palace. The  title of Ikedire was conferred on Anatsui and his head crowned with the symbolic royal red cap. El Anatsui has lived, served and taught in Nsukka for the past four decades.
