Concrete, Terrazzo Finish
Inspired during his early years at University of Nigeria, El Anatsui created a series of sculptures using concrete with a terrazzo finish. Ambivalent Hold, 1983 and For the Upliftment of Man, 1983 still stand on the grounds of the University.
