Two museums in two countries jointly acquire Anatsui piece

Kunstmeseum Bern, which we are familiar with for hosting El Anatsui’s Triumphant Scale among other things, has collaborated with Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam to jointly purchase the artist’s “In the World But Don’t Know the World, 2009”. The acquisition was made with the support of the Rembrandt Association, the Mondriaan Fund, the BankGiro Loterij and Stiftung GegenwART, with special thanks to the SIGG COLLECTION.
